It had been way too long since my last visit to this beautiful restaurant. Greeted by the wonderful owner with a welcoming smile, we were escorted to seats that were situated perfectly for my little family (including the pram) which is very rare.
The atmosphere was calm and cool and so were the waiters. Before we received our food the aroma hit and hooked us with anticipation until we were served just a short while after.
First to arrive was the dish I had been salivating over for the longest time..the most phenomenal tasting Aloo Parata I’ve ever eaten. It was steaming yet was cool enough for us to dig into. The top was crispy with an exotic spice flavouring and soft well cooked potatoes were generously filled between.
We were served two sauces to compliment it. One chilli tomato and another green spiced flavor 😅 It complimented each bite perfectly.
Next came our meal of a half chicken, 6 kebabs, Parata and chips. I honestly can’t even begin to explain how divine this meal was.
The chicken covered in a tangy chilli sauce cut up into 4 perfect pieces. It was done beautifully with the flavour right down to the bone. It had a bit of a burn to the top which made the flavor that much more intense. The Parata was drenched with flavours from all the components of the meal. The kebabs were spiced well with no “meat” taste like some other establishments. The chips were perfect, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
We were so full that we didn’t have any room for dessert, which for me is very odd because I somehow make the space😂
Nothing has changed about this place, if anything, it’s just gotten better!
Be sure to give it a go and post those pics on Insta!❤️
